Steven H. Collicott

Associate Head for Engagement
Purdue University School of Aeronautics and Astronautics

Steven Collicott, Ph.D., teaches and researches in a unique part of fluid physics—zero-gravity fluid dynamics. Applications range from control and gauging of liquid rocket propellants in spaceflight to wicking in Earth-bound miniature medical devices.  He is a leader in science and education payloads for the emerging commercial sub-orbital spaceflight industry.

He earned his Ph.D. in Aeronautics and Astronautics from Stanford University, is an Associate Fellow of the American Institute of Aeronautics and Astronautics, serves on CASIS’s Science and Technology Advisory Panel regarding our National Lab in the International Space Station, and chairs the Sub-orbital Applications Researchers Group of the Commercial Spaceflight Federation.
