The Strideway is a portable pressure measurement platform used for gait analysis. The primary application is to help clinicians and researchers gain actionable insight into underlying gait abnormalities, inefficiencies or imbalances. By having patients walk across the pressure sensitive walkway, the software collects information about their gait. Key gait parameters are displayed visually in graphs and tables, as well as a symmetrical comparison between left and right foot strikes. Using the Strideway, clinicians and researchers are able to identify asymmetries which might otherwise go undetected. For many clinicians, gait analysis is done visually without the use of any technology. By implementing a system like the Strideway, they can use the objective information to develop treatment plans and enhance the outcomes.
