Indego is an exoskeleton that provides intelligent gait assistance to the stroke and spinal cord injured population. In clinical evaluations, the device has shown the ability to restore legged mobility to individuals with impaired mobility, enabling them to stand and walk again. With over 1 million people per year suffering from a spinal cord injury or stroke, and existing mobilityassistance tools failing to deliver remotely close to the same level of mobility to users as they had pre-injury, there is an obvious need for a better solution. Indego provides legged mobility to gaitimpaired individuals through the intelligent use of motors, advanced sensors and control strategies in an ultra-compact form-factor.
