INNATE Precision Packaging Resins are a new family of linear low-density polyethylene (LLDPE) polymers with breakthrough toughness/dart impact resistance properties across a wide range of densities. This innovation extends the range of what is possible with linear low-density polyethylene resins and improves flexible packaging. To create INNATE Precision Packaging Resins, polyethylene resins are first converted from pellets into films, typically using a blown film process, and then the films are manipulated to create a final sealed and filled package. INNATE Precision Packaging Resins enable combinations of toughness with excellent stiffness, sealability and film line and packaging line efficiency in a variety of packaging applications. These include food packaging and industrial packaging including heavy-duty shipping sacks, silage wrap and specialty packaging. It can also be used to make improved artificial turf, an application far removed from packaging but benefiting from the unique properties of INNATE Precision Packaging Resins.
