Ion chromatography is a widely used analytical technique for the separation and determination of anionic and cationic analytes in various sample matrices. Ion chromatography is performed in a number of separation and detection modes today. The Thermo Scientific Dionex Integrion HPIC System is the new generation of RFIC systems and offers a number of novel features that enhance the overall system performance in terms of technical capability and ease of use for users of ion chromatography systems. The Integrion system has an integrated architecture that provides a compact platform with a small physical footprint. It is capable of operating at pressures up to 6000 psi, which allows the flexibility to use the new generation of smaller-particle ion exchange columns (e.g., 4 um particle size) to achieve higher resolution and/or faster separations of target analytes.
