Precipitant determination and high throughput screening of chemical libraries are crucial rate limiting components in the identification of chemical compounds for further bio-medical research.  Flex Plate’s simple versatile design addresses these crucial rate-limiting components by reducing both the time and components such as proteins and chemicals needed for the experiments.  In addition, the Flex Plate replaces the need for plate handling robot or manual removal of the crystal from the plate. These features make Flex Plate an innovative crystallization tool for high throughput screening of chemicals (drug discovery) and precipitants (for crystal discovery).
